JOB DETAILS:Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the recruitment process – Job posting, preparing the longlist, contacting candidates and organizing interviews.
• Support in the onboarding process – Preparation of the induction program and welcoming of new staff.
• Prepare national staff contracts, national consultancy contracts, internships agreements following labor regulations and internal guidelines.
• Liaise with Managers for contract renewals in due time and make constantly follow up to this process.
• Prepare and submit payroll information to ILRI HR in a timely manner.
• Maintain an up to date and accurate staff records, filing system and HR online systems.
• Updating of internal documents – leave records, chargeback forms, recruitment reports, contract report for SSA and CIP-SSA contact list.
• Assist in the payment process for consultants.
• Collaborate in preparing exit documents and taking the staff through the exit process.
• Comply with applicable health and safety CIP policies and procedures.
• Any other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
What are we looking for?
• Bachelor´s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience required in similar positions, especially working in the Human Resources area.
• Proficient in MS Office, preferably in excel and power point to prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Customer service oriented to support colleagues in the SSA region.
• Attention to detail.
• Demonstrate a high integrity and confidentiality.
• Advanced written and oral communication skills in English, Fluent in Kiswahili.

REQUIREMENTS

• 6+ years of proven working experience as an HR Manager or other HR Executive.
• Competence in using Hr systems.
• Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
• Extensive knowledge of HR policies and systems.
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws.
• Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
• In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR PRACTICES
