Requirement for Appointment

• Must have served in public Veterinary services for 10  years  with  at  least  three  years  in  the position  of  Assistant  Director  of  Veterinary  Services  JG  P     OR  at  least  six  years  in  the position of Chief Veterinary Officer JG N.
• Be in possession of a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM) Degree from a recognized institution;      
• Be registered by Kenya Veterinary Board;               
• A Master degree in any Veterinary Field:  Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Surgery,

REQUIREMENTS:

For appointment to this grade an officer must-

• Have a Diploma in any of the following disciplines.- Animal Health, Animal Health and Production, Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Diagnosis, Poultry Science or Veterinary Public Health and Meat Technology from a recognized institution;
• Be registered by the Kenya Veterinary Board;
• A certificate in Environmental health ( Meat inspection) will be an added advantage
• Have a certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or any related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Chief Cultural Officer or above
• Extensive Knowledge of Cultural Policies and activities.

Requirements for Chief Economist Job

For appointment of the grade of Chief Economist and officer must have; -

• Must have served in the grade of an economist JG “M” at least two (3) years or other comparable and relevant position in economic planning, or in the compilation and production of statistical data for county economic planning and development in the public sector.
• Demonstrated outstanding professional competence matched with proper appreciation of the department of trade economic development needs at the county and regional levels and strategies necessary to meet them
• Demonstrated a high degree of administrative capability coupled with wide experience in economic planning or in the production and interpretation of statistical data, and
• Be in a possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Economics or statistics from a recognized university/institution and a Master’s of Arts (MA) degree in Economics or Statistics from a recognized institution. (Added advantage).

• Be a Kenyan Citizen;
• Served in the grade of Senior Finance Officer or in a relevant and comparable position in the Public Service for a minimum period of three (3) years;

• Any other Bachelor’s degree with Certified Public Accountant II (CPA II) qualification;
