Responsibilities

• Maintain strong working relationships with all consulate or and immigration officers and colleagues.
• Provide guidance to other staff to enhance their understanding of immigration / consulates rules.
• Process of business invitation letters for staff / clients coming to Kenya on business trip.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree mandatory.
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Prior experience highly desirable in Immigration procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good computer skills mandatory
• Have basic knowledge on process at government institutions e.g. Kenya Revenue Authority and Directorate of Criminal Investigations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the project schedule, including deadlines for each project task.
• Identify any potential issues or risks that could affect the progression of the project. And communicate these items with the Project Manager, and work to identify potential solutions.
• Maintains crucial project documents which track project progress.
• Support in communicating with stakeholders regarding project needs and goals.
• Support in review of progress and to discuss future steps.
• Performing administrative tasks such as preparing invoices, estimates, scheduling meetings, etc.
• Coordinates with business, data, and ICT teams to align ICT projects
• Completing any tasks assigned by the Project Manager in an efficient and timely manner.
• Ensuring project complies with best practices, SOPs, PMO policies, and other policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience will be an added advantage;
• Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, or related field from a recognized Institution.
• PMI, PRINCE2, Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or similar certification.
• 2+ years of experience in a project management role.
• Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals.
• Understanding of software development life cycle.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong people skills.

Responsibilities

• Tests, maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization
• Improves operations in the data center by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures;
• Troubleshoots, debug and upgrade existing systems in the data center;
• Analyses user requirements and convert requirements to design documents
• Ability to develop software using a variety of programming languages, and have excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies;
• Understand client requirements and how they translate in application features;
• Develops and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation;
• Designs creative prototypes according to specifications;
• Writes high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines;
• Performs unit and integration testing before launch;
• Obtains and licenses software used in the data center by obtaining required information from vendors; recommending purchases; testing and approving products;
• Articulates technology and product positioning to both business and technical users;
• Provides design and specification development support to consultants, integrators, and distributors;
• Performs technical/ product training for salespeople, estimators, and engineers at targeted accounts;
• Listens, understand, and convey customer requirements;

Qualifications

• Relevant Professional qualifications such as Python, Ruby, Java, C Programming Language Certified Associate (CLA); C++ Certified Associate Programmer (CPA); ; Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD); Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA); Puppet Professional Certification (PCP); Oracle (OCP, OCM, OCE); Cloudera (CCDH); Amazon Web Services (AWS Certified Developer – Associate Level) or higher.
• Proficiency in software design, application development and programming principles

• Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration
• Perform engineering calculations to support design and maintenance work
• Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors
• Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process
• Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget
• Perform Data Centre facilities systems installation and configurations
• Actively involved in the maintenance and repairs of buildings and equipment to minimize ‘downtime’
• Co-provide input on power usage and for capacity planning
• Respond to alarms escalate alarms according to guidelines
• Work to improve efficiency, sustainability, environmental impact, automation, human resource utilization, documentation and/or control.
• Respond to data centre performance issues and outages, inspect, maintain, and repair various data centre systems.
• Provide engineering expertise, guidance, and technical assistance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or similar area of study.
• Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar
• Hands-on experience with computer-aided engineering (CAM) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAE)
• Minimum of 0 – 2 years’ experience as a technician in mechanical or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of data centers is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of HVAC and fire suppression in an advantage
