Sales & Marketing Manager

Responsibilities

  • Implement and drive relationship building with customers through the distribution of flyers, running corporate seminars and telephonic engagement 
  • Implement marketing and advertising campaigns by preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars. 
  • Run and manage public networking events and giveaways 
  • Develop and guide the execution of an operational plan in the areas of communication, innovation, promotions, pricing policy and distribution for individual products within the brand
  • Recommend, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies on time and within budget
  • Identify and exploit brand opportunities not covered by communication such as innovation/renovation projects
  • Track sales and costs by analysing and entering sales, expense, and new business data. 
  • Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing sales data. 
  • Keeps promotional materials ready by updating materials; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt. 
  • Support office staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analysis, new product information; relaying patient services requests
  • Able to benchmark and understand market best practises .
  • Represent the organization as a progressive leader in the industry in order to capitalize the company position, image and revenue potential.
  • Understand and manage the department’s budget/expense.
  • Develop a deeper understanding of consumers by leading research projects.

Qualifications 

  • Degree from a recognized university, preferably in the areas of Marketing/ Business Administration/ Communication
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in a financial institution Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Marketing Manager or a similar role.
  • Experience with database, digital/content, and direct-response marketing
  • Prefer experience with Business-to-Business (B2B) Marketing
  • Experience in event management is preferred but not imperative.
  • Experience in market research and innovation projects, communication and promotional activities;
  • Very Strong Communication and presentation skills and experience including proficiency in Powerpoint;
  • Strong Leadership skills and ability to influence;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment 

Creative Director

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the company and its clients as the Creative Lead to produce diverse marketing collaterals for traditional and digital marketing projects
  • Oversee and manage the quality of content produced in the studio as well as on-site
  • Spearhead and manage content strategy, brand design and technology internally and externally
  • Offer strategic vision, plan, and execution of client briefs for all our different stakeholders
  • Prepare and present project details, proposals, client pitches, and budgets to our clients
  • Conduct upper-level client meetings with clients to explain the creative campaign processes/proposals
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Business Development Heads to develop creative strategies
  • Supervise and cultivate career development for the junior team
  • Conduct brainstorming sessions with the creative team to develop innovative creative projects 
  • Produce fresh work that translates complex ideas into compelling digital experiences for our diverse audiences
  • Spearhead creative projects and partnerships that utilize the studio to generate revenue for the company
  • Ensure work is delivered with the highest levels of creativity and production value while ensuring it meets and exceeds industry standards
  • Ensure designs and content reflect consistently and positively the brand image and company ideals
  • Supervise the overall quality of creative output by providing direction and leadership on creative project plans.
  • Have a natural eye for design with proven skills in telling dynamic stories through a creative lens

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Film, Media, Communications, Journalism, or other relevant fields.
  • 4 years of experience offering creative direction in Corporate/Advertising/PR/Digital Marketing Agency 
  • Demonstrated leadership as a Creative Director equipped in developing and implementing creative strategies
  • Experience working with influencers is an added advantage
  • Creativity! Approach each project with a fresh take, ensuring that every customer receives content that suits their needs
  • Highly organized — manage multiple projects from concept through completion
  • Deep understanding of emerging trends in digital content consumption and audience habits
  • Knowledge of how to develop brand identities through multi-channel marketing
  • Prior experience in copywriting, design, art, or production is preferable
  • Prior project management experience, with a focus on creative direction
  • Familiarity with a variety of software programs, such as Photoshop, InDesign, Final Cut, Adobe Premier

Branch Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring sales targets are met and achieved Motivating and managing staff member’s day-to-day running of the branch and ordering of stock in line with the branch business strategy.
  • Provide market feedback to Head of DOCS & Branches & Head of Imaging regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs, and generate product development ideas.
  • Drive and monitor adequate sales activities. These include “face-to-face” appointments, quotations, and demonstrations.
  • Participate in the budgetary process for the branch.
  • Prepare and update sales pipeline reports as well as daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Engage the relevant support to provide your sales team with effective solutions
  • Sign off all professionally prepared proposals, clearly highlighting the client’s needs, the proposed solution, the costs involved, and the appropriate technology used.
  • Assigning branch sales targets to the Branch Sales Team in line with the agreed budget.
  • Building counter strategies to remain competitive in the market against competition and constantly exploring new markets and products within his region and opening new accounts.
  • Inventory planning: planning on equipment and consumables at the branch.
  • In liaison with the Senior Support Engineer and ensure proper coordination of all engineer teams.
  • Achieve collection targets by setting up and implementing an efficient sales cycle and processes.
  • Maintain a climate that attracts, retains, and motivates top quality sales team. Recruit, train, appraise, supervise, support, develop, promote, and guide qualified branch staff.
  • Developing, managing & maintaining executive-level contacts in key accounts within his region.
  • Manages the branch fleet to support the branch business.
  • Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

 Key Qualifications. 

  • Degree in business management and/or any other related areas
  • Minimum of 6 years in the office automation industry
  • At least 3 years’ experience in running a branch will be an added advantage.
  • Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of all solutions offered in Office Automation. i.e Digital and Cash Management.
  • Proven leadership and ability to establish, maintain and drive teams.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Experience in management or senior sales experience.
  • Experience in office automation sales both hardware and software.
  • Must have a strong understanding of labor law Strong admin skills.

Executive Assistant & Information Management Officer

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Screens, prioritizes, dispatches and follows up on requests, calls and correspondence; has an overview of the delegation’s activities and takes into account its priorities and challenges when making decisions. Flags issues and delays; produces and updates timelines, schedules and other tools;
  • When requested by the Management, participates in discussions, and follows up on the implementation of decisions and strategies. When needed, takes minutes of meetings, and follows up on the action points, produces and/or updates reports;
  • Manages internal and external contacts by means of ICRC-supplied tools. Supervises the updating of other units’ contacts. Actively maintains and develops a network of contacts within the national authorities, security and armed forces, political opposition groups, civil societies and with any other influential stakeholders;
  • Manages appointments and organizes meetings both with ICRC colleagues (briefings, periodic and ad hoc meetings) and with external interlocutors. Receives or supervises the reception of management’s visitors and helps to organize events at which protocol must be observed, including visits by donors and other major figures;
  • Drafts formal and informal correspondence, procedures and directives in English for the signature of the Management; proofreads correspondence/reports/other documents and ensures optimum lay-out; if needed, translates documents from local language to English and/or liaises with translators;
  • Ensures that all electronic documents and all paper documents received are shared with concerned staff members, by supervising colleagues within the IM Team;
  • Organizes, supervises, manages, and monitors the use and update of a range of collaborative tools and databases.
  • Acts as access manager in coordination with peer colleagues within the IM Team;
  • Ensures all new staff are briefed on above mentioned subjects. Provides regular trainings to all users and IM relays (or any other person in charge) and monitors the effectiveness of their acquired knowledge;
  • In coordination with the Information Management Coordinator (IMCo) organizes or contributes to the organization of national IM seminars/workshops on above mentioned subjects;
  • Makes sure that all staff know and apply ICRC rules regarding correspondence and ICRC protocol; proposes solutions in cases of contradiction between the rules and local practices; ensures that all correspondence concerned by these rules that leaves the delegation is validated by the qualified person; knows the rules regarding signatures and ensures that these rules are applied by all staff in the delegation;
  • Keeps their knowledge and skills up to date on standard computer technology and any emerging thematic related to their function. Informs users on new information management tools;
  • Ensures that proper procedures for protection/use/storage of sensitive office supplies (ICRC stamps, seals, letterhead stationery, etc.) exist and are complied with. Makes sure that the letterhead stationery, business cards, envelopes, etc. comply with the applicable visual identity rules;
  • Manages as line manager: 1 Assistant & IM Officer, as functional manager to 2-4 Assistants & IM Officer/ Administrative Assistants
  • Oversees the recruitment, induction and trainings of new IM team members.

Minimum Requirements and competencies

  • University degree or equivalent certification or experience; Masters degree is an asset;
  • Minimum 3 -5 years confirmed practical IM experience (as IM Officer or Manager) in an international working environment or with an international organization;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience providing executive support in an international organization or company;
  • Experience in coordinating a team, coaching and training skills;
  • Holding a similar role in an NGO/INGO for at least a year would be an asset;
  • Advanced computer skills and able to train end users on Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint and IBM Lotus Notes & other digital platforms;
  • Excellent organisation skills;
  • Excellent command of English both written and verbal communication skills.
