KOKO Networks is a venture-backed technology company currently operating in Kenya and India. Our mission is to imagine and deliver technology that transforms life in the world’s fastest growing cities. We build and deploy cloud-connected "KOKO Points" inside local retail outlets, which provide mass market consumer goods in partnership with major suppliers. Our first solution is liquid ethanol cooking fuel, which offers significant cost savings and quality of life improvements in the multi-billion dollar urban cooking market. In Kenya, this solution is delivered in partnership with Vivo Energy, the operator of Shell-branded fuel infrastructure across Africa. KOKO offers a fast-paced and highly collaborative work environment with significant opportunities for professional growth. We are looking for people who share our passion for technology and our vision for global impact.

You will build and lead a small but highly capable team of delivery managers who work across multiple product squads. You will guide their work, act as an Agile champion, and work alongside product managers, engineers, and UX designers to ship high quality product and solutions.
The Senior Agile Delivery Manager role at KOKO combines the skills of an experienced agile coach and delivery manager with that of a people manager. You will be responsible for the morale and work of your team, coaching and leading them, nurturing a culture of continuous improvement while also ‘jumping in’ on delivery work.

You will report directly to our Chief Product Officer and be a member of the Product leadership team. We’re building an amazing Delivery team here at KOKO and you can help us right from the start.
This role requires at least some time in the local market and close to our operations in Nairobi in India. We will consider candidates based there, willing to relocate there, or able to travel there 10-20% of their time. .

• You will be a strong advocate for Agile and Lean practices and mindset; you coach and lead teams, continuously reflecting and challenging them; you innovate and tailor our ways of working
• You build strong cross-functional relationships at all levels, manage stakeholders’ expectations, and build consensus around time, resource, quality, and risk trade-offs
• You will optimise delivery flows of teams, help them address challenges around complexity, risks, issues and dependencies and identify innovative ways to to remove blockers
• Together with product and engineering managers you will lead a continuous planning process, translating strategic roadmaps into specific requirements and plans, identifying dependencies across workstreams, and coordinating delivery
• You will also work directly on the delivery of key solutions and projects, focusing especially on higher-level strategic delivery work and the most complex delivery and service challenges
• You will ensure that our solutions and systems provide high levels of availability, performance, and security - providing guidance and leadership at both build and run time
• You will improve our insights into the levers that affect service outcomes for deployed solutions and drive continuous improvement through better monitoring, logging, tracing, and reporting
