JOB DETAILS:In this capacity, the professional will:
Lead a team of Oracle DBAs to offer enterprise database consultancy to clients in a way that ensures integrity, performance, and reliability.
Coordinate activities performed by the team, track, and report on team activities, define and document team processes, troubleshoot escalated issues and will be hands-on in operational
Apps and Core DBA tasks which involves database monitoring, performance tuning, backup and recovery, installation, maintenance, and disaster recovery for Oracle EBS and Database.
Primary Responsibilities
• Lead other Oracle DBAs in the execution of assigned projects.
• Defining, documenting, and maintaining Oracle DBA team processes.
• Reporting to the Head of Technical Operations on the Oracle DBA projects and team activities
• Installation, configuration, upgrading, administrating, monitoring, troubleshooting, cloning, Patching, Backup and restore of Oracle EBS. Would be responsible for reviewing application/databases, identify performance bottlenecks and fixing those.
• Resolving complex issues involving database performance, database capacity, resiliency, stability, replication, and other key aspects of distributed database technology.
• Responsible for physical database design and implementation, database security implementation and monitoring.
• Provides hands on technical expertise, provides senior level technical guidance to staff, project leaders and other teams as necessary.
• Researching and recommending solutions that best meet business needs and enterprise operational requirements for clients.
• Work closely with multiple application development/implementation team(s) to implement and support data-oriented development efforts.
• Good knowledge of OEM & product licensing.
Required Skills / Experience
• Over 5 years’ experience in Oracle Apps Database Administration with at least 3 years in client facing roles.
• Demonstrable experience in Oracle Database and EBS upgrades from 11g/12c to 19c.
• 2+ years of direct IT experience supporting database environments on a UNIX/Solaris platform
• Minimum of Oracle Database Certified Professional (OCP).
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Management Information Systems, Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or other Information Technology related major.
• Experience with features such as Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), ASM and Active Data Guard, WebLogic, etc.
• Ability to successfully manage/lead a team of technical IT resources with demonstrated progression of increased scope and complexity.
• Proficiency with working with MS Excel, MS Word, and MS outlook.
• Capable of understanding the technical aspects of a complex system
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills and problem solving. Demonstrates the ability to think through situations outside the norm and develop appropriate solutions for isolating the root cause.
• Must have excellent communication skills and a passion for providing world-class service.
• Must be able to work independently as well as with others, as part of a domestic and international team.
• Excellent time management, decision making, prioritization and organization skills.
• Good knowledge in Oracle database/E Business suite architecture and components.

JOB DETAILS:Job Purpose:
To develop, implement and support software applications in accordance with information systems requirements of the organization and ensure that software applications are available for use 24/7.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement In-house software applications by gathering system requirements, designing, developing, and implementation of the system.

• Solid experience in Microsoft technologies especially as applicable to Web Applications and Mobile applications development.

JOB DETAILS:PATH Kenya through USAID Nuru Ya Mtoto Project seeks to recruit a Health Information Systems Lead. The incumbent shall be responsible for the development, coordination, and monitoring of the implementation of e-Health and related Health Information System (HIS) solutions under USAID Nuru ya Mtoto project, as well as supporting the Monitoring and Evaluation components of the project.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead the design, development, maintenance, and support of electronic systems (e-health and mhealth solutions). This includes KenyaEMR, NDWH, ADT, e-HTS, Ushauri, Nishauri, Lab systems, CPIMS among others used in HIV C&T, OVC and DREAMS programs
• Provide technical support for eHealth and HIS platforms including providing first-level support, troubleshooting, system testing, applications’ rollout, and providing excellent post-rollout IT support via phone, internet, or in-person as the need arises
• Lead the implementation of a secure, cost-effective technology to host a centralized POC EMR server and data repository for real-time access and retrieval of individual level data
• Working with the M&E Advisors to customize and enhance an internal DHIS2 based system for online reporting and integration of live visual dashboards for performance monitoring
• Lead in capacity building for end users including program staff, LIPs, County and Sub-county staff and service providers at facility on EMR and other HIS products in compliance with national protocols and guidelines and provide continuous mentorship.
• Working closely with the Data officers and the M&E Advisors to ensure that data extracts and reports meet the required specifications and to support the data quality team in defining and achieving data quality objectives.
• Collaborating with the M&E Advisor to develop and implement the strategies for EMR systems transition and scale up, systems interoperability/integration, and reporting
• Design, develop, deploy, and implement eHealth and HIS solutions to facilitate real-time data transmission and reporting at LIPs, Health facility, Sub- National, and National levels.
• Lead the program team in devising and implementing efficient and secure procedures for data handling with attention to all technical aspects including weekly data backups both onsite and offsite
• Work closely with MOH (Ministry of Health) counterparts including health facilities and LIPs, to ensure systems are in alignment with national HMIS standards
• Lead in reviewing, formulating, and implementing the HIS policies of the Nuru ya Mtoto Project, overseeing HIS/ICT technology upgrades
• Work with county M&E officers and ensure timely system upgrades and data is backed up and transmitted to the NDWH, NASCOP reporting systems
Required Experience
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or Information Technology. A minimum of five years of health informatics experience in a health-related project
• Broad and extensive knowledge of IT principles, methods, and techniques; analytical skills and superior knowledge of project management principles to manage projects and work with multi-disciplinary teams
• Experience in: the design, programming, and administration of transactional databases (MySQL, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL), Windows Server and Linux Server administration, networking & hardware maintenance, and programming skills in PHP, JavaScript CSS, XML, net (C#, ASP)
• Experience in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining knowledge management systems that facilitate data use for decision-making
• Demonstrable experience in the development and implementation of web and m-health-based solutions
• Experience in Electronic Medical Records’ development, implementation, and support
• Working knowledge DATIM and PEPFAR reporting systems is an added advantage
• Strong oral and written communications skills
