JOB DETAILS:• We are looking for a self-driven Sales Intern to join our customer service team. As a Sales Intern, your main duties will be to sell the different products we have to potential or existing customers.
• Some of our goals may include closing on potential sales within the set sales targets.
• Your role will be extremely important for client success, satisfaction, and ultimately, loyalty.
Sales Intern duties and Responsibilities:
• Customer Service
• Acquire leads, push for leads and sales of our product
• Move leads up our customer journey
• Follow up on acquired leads and sales
• Perform Outbound campaigns and achieve the set targets
Sales Intern requirements
• Diploma or higher qualification in a relevant field from a recognized institution
• Relevant professional/industry experience in sales and marketing.
• Excellent understanding and knowledge of IT systems and social media platforms.
• Prior Customer service /call center/customer care knowledge or experience will be an added advantage.
• Work location – Along Thika Road Nairobi
• Self-driven and highly self-motivated individuals required
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent commitment and time management
• Having a Laptop is an added advantage
• Applicants must not be engaged in any other work arrangements and must be able to start immediately

What you will be doing:
• Responsible for the delivery of Guests to their room, luggage, messages and any other items for delivery within the Hotel
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Ensure the timely and efficient transfer of luggage to and from the guest’s room
• Ensure the guest is familiar with their room upon arrival ie. temperature control, amenities, hotel services
• Maintain a presence in the Lobby when not delivering luggage to guest rooms, offering assistance to Guests, under the direction of the supervisor
• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards, including all safety policies
• Other duties as assigned
Your experience and skills include:
• Previous customer service experience required
• Service focused personality is essential
• Previous experience as a Bellperson/Porter an asset
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent communication skills and a professional presentation
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Physically fit and able to lift 15+kg and carry guest luggage
• Possibility of making a study agreement of at least 6 months
