Duties and Responsibilities
• Be responsible for the overall administration of a County Department to which he/she is assigned or re-assigned;
• Be responsible for needs of the local community and the functions and competences assigned to and transferred to the County;
• Facilitate a culture of public service and accountability in the county public service; COUNTY CHIEF OFFICERS
• Be performance oriented and focused on the objects of devolved government as set out in the Constitution;
• Be efficient and ensure that the County Departments align their roles and responsibilities with the priorities and objectives set out in the County’s policies and plans;
• Organize his/her department and other structures in a flexible way in order to respond to changing priorities and circumstances;
• Assign clear responsibilities for the management and coordination of the County department and functions;
• Allow participatory decision making as far as practicable;
• Provide an equitable, fair, open and non-discriminatory working environment;
• Submit quarterly reports of the respective department to the County Executive Committee through the respective CEC-Member and to the County Assembly through the County Secretary and to respect the oversight role of the County Assembly by giving information and honoring summons whenever required;
• Implement the policies and plans developed by the County Government;
• Provision of strategic policy direction for effective service delivery;
• To ensure departmental compliance with National Values and Principles of Governance as outlined in Articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution;
• Performance of any other functions conferred by the Constitution, National or County Legislation;
• He/ She will be responsible to the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for administration of a county department as provided under section 46; and
• Carry out any other function incidental to any of the assigned functions and/or as may be assigned from time to time by the County Governor.
• Requirement for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must: -
Be a Kenyan citizen.
• Holds a first degree from a university recognized in Kenya.
• A Master’s degree or higher academic qualifications from a university recognized in Kenya will be an added advantage.
• Have vast knowledge and experience of not less than five (5) years in the relevant field, three (3) of which should be in a senior/managerial position in a large organization;
• Demonstrate thorough understanding of County development objectives of vision 2030;
• Be a strategic thinker and results-oriented;
• Have excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills;
• Have capacity to work under pressure to meet strict timelines;
• Have ability to work in a multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity;
• Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the National Values and Principles of Governance as outlined in Articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010;
• Be Computer literate; and
• Satisfy the requirement of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.

• Manage a portfolio of corporate customers; serve as their primary point of contact and financial advisor as well as prospect and acquire new corporate customers to
• grow the Bank’s revenue and share of wallet for the assigned industry in line with the Bank’s strategy.
• Apply experience in corporate relationship management to develop and implement account plans for the existing portfolio within the assigned industry target market, recommend, structure and sell solutions that address the customers’ needs, with the support from the solution/product teams in order to meet assigned goals and target.
• Customer acquisition, satisfaction, growth and retention are critical to succeed in this role.

Ideal Job Specifications
Academic:
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized accredited university.
Professional:
• At least 5 years’ experience in Commercial Banking, 3 of which should have been in an assistant management capacity in a similar sized organisation.
Desired work experience:
• Proven track record of consistently achieving a portfolio’s financial growth.
• Experience in products, bank operations and customer experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of the local banking industry, banking products, banking services and banking regulations. Sound working knowledge and understanding of general

JOB DETAILS:Role Purpose
• As a Customer Solutions Engineer you’ll act as the technology adviser to prospective customers and the wider sales team understanding and converting customers’ requirements into the most effective technical solutions. You will also be responsible for the technical relationship with the customer.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain trusting and collaborative customer technical relationships with new prospects and strategic customer.
• Develop a good understanding of your customers business to help ensure they get so much value out of Avanti’s satellite network that they can’t live without it;
• Be a trusted advisor for your customers and an expert on what Avanti offers. Able to confidently discuss and demonstrate the power of the Avanti network;
• Support the sales team through customer requirement gathering, proposal development and customer communications. Alongside this, you’ll be working with the sales team to identify the customers requirements.
• Collaborate with the Solution Architects to perform communications system design, link budgets and feasibility analysis to develop solutions that meet the customer requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
Essential:
• Experience in managing customer technical communications directly including presentation skills
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering (or equivalent)
• Knowledge of digital network communications and RF signal theory.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time to meet business needs
• Good knowledge of satellite network architectures and IP networking.
• Good understanding of satellite operations, satellite design & manufacturing, communications operations, link budgeting and the sales process
• Good understanding of the cost drivers of satellite/terrestrial solutions
• Good understanding of communications system architecture, VSAT platform technology, network traffic and sizing models
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral.
• Ability and desire to work in a collaborative, solutions-oriented environment
Desirable
• IP Networking Certification
• Experience in 2G/3G/4D mobile technologies
• Experience in 5G mobile technologies
