Job Summary
• Our client is a start-up I.T company in Kenya looking for serious individuals both male and female who are seeking entry level work and seek to create growth for a tech company.

Qualifications for the Internship
1. Certificate or Diploma in Information Technology or any related course to apply.
2. Degree holders or part-time students will not be qualified for this job.
3. No experience needed, just be open and willing to learn.
4. Qualified candidates will under go a 6 months to 1 year paid internship.
5. Candidates with any additional skills in either of the following fields will be highly preferred:(Web Design/Web Development/Graphic Design/Motion Design/Video Editing/Marketing)
6. Must have passion for technology and fashion or both.
7. Good analytical skills, can be able to deduct technical terminologies easily.
8. Must possess good writing skills and be very fluent in English (both orally and written).
9. Great attitude, positive and ready to learn.
10. Must be able to work with no supervision.
11. Respecter of authority.
12. Should be able to engage and work with a team.
13. Must be available on a full-time basis.
14. Should be a person of strong moral principle/integrity.
15. Should be a Christian, firm believer.

Education
Applicants must at the time of application meet one of the following requirements:
• Be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher);
• Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent);
• Have graduated with Bachelor's degree, Masters, PhD or equivalent
• Be computer literate in standard software applications (Microsoft Office).
• Have demonstrated keen interest in the work of the United Nations and have a personal commitment to the ideals of the Charter;
• Have a demonstrated ability to successfully interact with individuals of different cultural backgrounds and beliefs, which include a willingness to try and understand and be tolerant of differing opinions and views.
• Preferred areas of study: Technology, Audio Visual Engineering, Information Technology, or any other related area.

Work Experience
• No working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Programme. Your training, education, advance course work or skills should benefit the United Nations during your internship.
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office applications or equivalent is desirable.
• Knowledge in operating AV equipment is desirable.

Languages
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this internship, fluency in oral and written English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language is an asse
