Principal Responsibilities
• Being the gatekeeper of our website, and checking that at all times, it looks beautiful, has informative and exciting product descriptions and is 100% transparent about the source of all our products.
• Processing supplier applications and vetting new products.
• Helping organise product tastings for the team and / or specific customer groups for specific types of products.
• Educating and informing our packing and logistics teams on new products coming in to the warehouse.
• Conducting global research about what products are available and what we could bring to Greenspoon to excite and delight our customers.
• Negotiating favorable trade terms with suppliers (margins, credit, delivery agreements)
• Working closely with the CMO, as well as the Marketing, Procurement and Finance teams to make the onboarding of new products smooth.

Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Interest in food, cooking, and Kenyan products.
• Great writing skills.
• Ability to work alongside a diverse group of employees and simultaneously work toward many company initiatives at once.
• Ambitious, and ready to take on various roles from time to time.
• Incredible eye for detail (visual, textual)

What will you be doing:
• Maintain inventory and security of products including stocking, cleaning, and maintaining the bar.
• Ensure exceptional service to clients with strong sales skills to increase average sales
• Provide guests with a memorable experience in our lounge by turning their moments into memories.
• Ensure all bills are handled in an accurate manner.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies and ensure safe work practices are followed at all times.
• Take orders, prepare the drinks and operate the cash register

Your experience and skills include:
• Have at least 2 years of experience as a Bartender in a 5 star luxury hotel
• Good command of the professional English language.
• Thorough knowledge of all beverages served in particular with wine, Cocktails and Gins
• Certification in F&B or Wine Stewarding an asset
• Very good knowledge of preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and/or holidays.
• Knowledge of and experience with basic HACCP principles.
• Experience as a Mixologist or passion for mixing cocktails.
• Other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements:
• Manage day-to-day operations of the café.
• Bring in more customers and drive business growth in regard to speed and quality of service and drinks at the café.
• Ensure accurate record keeping for the business including sales, inventory and accounting management.
• Smoothly integrating and updating new equipment, offerings and processes
• Lead weekly team meetings
• Work closely alongside our barista team and identify areas to upskill them with training both as on-the-job learning and focused training sessions.
• Develop and present monthly reports to the owner on the cafe’s operations and metrics
• Launch the Cafes Events by holding 1+ internal event (at the cafe) per month, and build out the offering and market to host external events (at a customer’s location of choice)

Qualifications
• Relevant Degree or diploma.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in the hospitality industry.
• Must have 1 year experience as a Barista.
• Must have 1 year experience in supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience as a bartender and/or mixologist is an added advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and relationships with people, and to deliver excellent customer service.
• Demonstrated interest, passion, knowledge and skills for coffee and coffee beverage-making.
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems and learn quickly.
• Strong professional drive and desire to grow in your career.
• Good planning, organization and leadership skills.

What you will be doing:
• Ensure all completed laundry/dry cleaning/pressing and related items are delivered timely, as directed by Supervisor
• Attend to all guest requests and/or instructions as directed by the Laundry Managers
• Indicate hotel count on all laundry lists and tally with guest count
• Sort fold and hang item accordingly into correct number box and hanging bar as per marking
• Pack folded item, perform quality control and complete packing using the appropriate packing accessories. Re-sent item required for re-pressing, sewing, stain removal and others.
• Ensure guest clothing packaging are completed in accordance to LQA Standards.

Your experience and skills include:
• Previous experience as a Laundry Operator
• Diploma in Housekeeping & Laundry Operations or related field
• Highly responsible & reliable.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
