Responsibilities
• Recruitment which will include developing job descriptions, preparing advertisements, checking application forms, short listing, interviewing and selecting candidates.
• Ensure job descriptions for all the roles available in the business are up to date
• Liaise with other managers to determine staffing requirements
• Use internal and external systems to advertise job vacancies as appropriate
• Ensure compliance with employment and data protection related legal requirements
• Develop and keep up to date policies relating to employment and other human resources issues
• Assisting in developing, advising on and implementing policies relating to the effective use of personnel within an organization; such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management;
• Working closely with departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures
• Interpreting and advising on employment legislation
• Assisting in developing HR planning strategies with line managers, which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements in terms of numbers and skill levels;
• Monitor, measure and report on HR issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales
• Liaise with other functional/departmental managers so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of HR development, and to ensure they are fully informed of HR objectives, purposes and achievements
• Employee engagement calendar planning and activities driving to keep a high motivation of employees
• Raising the quality of human resource and ensure full employee support at all times
Qualifications
• Diploma/Higher National Diploma in Human Resource
• Knowledge of the BPO industry in Kenya.
• Valid HR License
• Minimum of 2 years human resources experience in a BPO ITES field.
