Key Deliverables
Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
• Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).
• Provide administrative support in the Human Resource department.
• Process documentation and prepare reports and HR metrics
• Assist in training, performance evaluations, exits and other HR issues
• Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys, etc.) and take minutes.
• Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
• Assist in handling complaints and grievance procedures.
• Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews.
• Conduct initial orientation & induction of newly hired employees.
• Assist our recruiters to source candidates and coordinating the recruiting process up to the induction.
• Participate in employee disciplinary procedure
• Assist to ensure compliance with HR Policy and all processes.
The requirements
To be the successful candidate, you should have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or Business degree with a focus on Human Resource Management.
• Members of the IHRM(K)
• CHRP will be an added advantage
• At least 3 years’ experience in an HR & Admin role within an educational or not-for-profit organization.

Gross Salary Scale: As per NPSC Salary Scale
Leave allowance: As existing in the Commission
Annual Leave: 30 working days per financial year
Medical Cover: As existing in the Commission
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
(a) Duties and Responsibilities Managerial Responsibilities
i. Overall Management of the Commission regional offices;
ii. Analyze the Human Capital Management and Development structures and systems, Human Capital metric reports and research findings at the region;
iii. Ensure implementation of Human Capital Management and Development policies, regulations and procedural manuals at the region;
iv. Ensures implementation of the Human Capital Management strategy;
v. Develop and Implement the work plans derived from the Human Capital strategy in line with the overall Commission strategy;
vi. Monitor and implement the human capital budget;
vii. Implement the Performance Management Systems and culture to ensure the overall achievement of National Police Service Commission strategic objectives at the region;
viii. Implement employee Career Progression guidelines;
ix. Implementation of welfare Schemes & Program for Commission staff and NPS at the region;
x. Managing employee discipline and ensure compliance; and
xi. Ensure a conducive employee work environment that promotes employee motivation, teamwork and helps to maximize employee productivity.

i. Administer staff benefits in line with the Commission policies, procedures and best practice;
