About Role
Burn is looking for an Electric Quality Control Lead who will oversee the activity of the quality assurance team, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization’s products and development processes.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Manage quality processes to ensure quality compliance of:
• Electric product assembly lines.
• Incoming quality of Electric products.
• Finished assembled Electric products.
• In-process quality of Electric products.
• Manage and provide feedback to the production, engineering, and product teams.
• Manage quality processes that require performing tasks that interface with software-related products supporting the Electric products.
• Manage a team of quality inspectors and analysts with their daily tasks and workstation allocation.
• Generate and share quality reports including corrective actions regarding quality processes for Electric lines and products.
• Coordinate quality inspection of Electric products and assembly lines.
• Work with engineering & product teams to ensure that process/product validations are carried out adequately and successfully.
• Lead and own the development and revision of quality documents, such as spec sheets, SOPs, drawings, etc.
• Facilitate training, learning, and knowledge dissemination for quality inspectors and analysts. Contribute towards quality training strategy for Electric team.
• Identify stations and assembly lines that need more training and/or more talent.
• Ensure that all quality requirements are met before any product release.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the manager from time to time.
• Ensure all measurement and inspection instruments are calibrated
Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience in a quality control role.
• Prior leadership in a quality role in manufacturing setup.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Background in electrical and electronics engineering.
• Knowledge of software platforms for process management.
• Can work collaboratively across teams to pull needed resources.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
