A management trainee works under the supervision of managers and executives in organizations. Your goal is to acquire all essential knowledge to become a future manager, often in particular fields, such as marketing, sales, or operations.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
• Help managers complete daily tasks
• Understand each department’s daily processes and goals
• Provide administrative support
• Get familiar with personnel duties related to the department he/she is hired for
• Participate in company’s strategic planning
• Help managers in evaluating performance (e.g., writing reports, analysing data)
• Research ways to increase profitability and lower risk/ cost
• Create and give presentations
• Completing all assigned tasks and assisting with day-to-day operations.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all key stakeholders

Main Responsibilities
• Receive rotational experience, formal technical skills training, and on the job training.
• Work in specific departments and business units to gain a perspective of the organization as a whole.
• Deliver on the business initiatives by solving structured problems with respective departments and units.
• Understanding project requirements and completing all duties assigned by the Supervisor.
• Shadowing senior staff members, asking questions, and assisting wherever possible.
• Compiling reports and making presentations to other staff members and management.
• Analyzing existing systems and making suggestions for improvement where appropriate.
• Participate in progress assessment reviews, periodic performance evaluation and coaching.
• Maintaining a high degree of professionalism and diligence.

• Superior multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and self-confident.

Academic/Professional Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in any of the following areas: Finance, Economics, Statistics, Information Technology or Computer Science and Actuarial Science.
• Demonstrated academic performance of Second- Class Upper Division or GPA 3.4 and above.
