Tasks and Responsibilities
The National Project Coordinator for WaPOR Phase 2 / Water Specialist will perform the following key functions.
• Coordination meetings at national level as well as at project level with the other selected countries;
• Organization of national workshops: identification of participants, agenda preparation, facilitation and reporting;
• Liaise with other relevant regional and national institutions for sharing of information and experiences.
• Support the development of country implementation and engagement plan in the country together with project partners and key stakeholders.
• Coordination and communication with government counterparts, national partners and stakeholders and the WaPOR partners (IWMI, IHE-Delft) as well as FAO colleagues;
• Ensure gender-sensitive implementation of project, including gender disaggregated data, gender-sensitive analysis and gender balanced participation in workshops;
• Prepare project mid-term reviews and project completion reports, including budget, Terms of Reference (ToR) of studies and consultancies, technical specifications for procurement
• Write and review programmes documents (reports, manuals, etc.)
• Assist in the developing relevant concept notes and project proposals
• Perform other related duties and activities upon instructions received from Project Officer, NSL, Team Leader- Governance of Natural Resources Sub-programme, Assistant FAORs, and the FAOR.

Duties and Responsibilities
• In charge of maintenance of all county motor vehicles and other related equipment such generators, automobiles and plant equipment among others,
• In charge of the county Mechanical workshop and all its operations,
• Develop and ensure implementation of policies and procedures and enforce implementation of schedule and policy change;
• Collaborate with the Director and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals and objectives;
• Monitor operations to ensure that officers comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, and government regulations;
• Develop criteria, application instructions, procedural manuals, and contracts for county Government and hired equipment and plant programs;
