Job Purpose Statement
The Head, Cash Management Sales is a strategic and critical role charged with formulating actions around sales that drives non funded income (NFI) for the entire bank as well as uptakeand utilisation of Cash Management products and services to all bank customers. This role has oversight over a Sales team supporting Corporate, Retail and Treasury business units and alsohas oversight over both Implementation and Channel support units. The role is also a critical advisor to other Cash Management units within Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda subsidiaries.
• Strategic formulation and execution of Cash Management product and services sales programmes for the entire bank and the region.
• Grow NFI transactional revenues while providing effective client support and relationship development relating to Cash Management products and services.
• Support innovation of Cash Management products and services to take care of both current and future needs of the banks’ customers.
• Lead the Cash Management Sales team to ensure team objectives are achieved successfully.
• Ensure critical Implementation and training support is provided to new and existing bank customers on cash management product and services.
• Ensure channel support with regard to queries and system updates is provided to new and existing bank customers on cash management product and services
Job Specifications
Academic:
• University degree and any other relevant Professional qualifications.
Professional:
• ACIB/AKIB Banking qualifications will be an added advantage
• A professional qualification in IT or project management field is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Ms Office Suite – Ms Word, Power Point, Ms Excel

• Build strategic relationships with IHV partners at levels
• Grow their awareness of open source capabilities on Canonical Ubuntu
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of the Linux and cloud software ecosystem
• Negotiate contracts and commercial business terms
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of large and complex organizations
• Lead partnerships in APAC with companies like Lenovo, Huawei, Quanta, Fujitsu, Inspur, H3C, NEC, Asus etc.
• Lead partnerships in EMEA with companies like Bull, Siemens
• Lead partnerships in the Americas with companies like Dell, HP, IBM, Supermicro
• Work closely with marketing, sales engineering and product management
• Deliver on targets, objectives and provide a voice of the partner
• Lead executive interlocks between IHV and Canonical leadership
• Travel regularly - sometimes internationally - to drive partnerships in person

• Multi hotel unit Sales Management experience at Director level, delivering results across differing markets and segments.
• Team Leadership, management, communication, presentation, and mentoring skills
• Ability to effectively influence multiple brand partners
• Experience of working with global hotel brands (Accor/IHG preferred) and ability to align closely with and deliver on brand strategies.
• Strong customer relationship management skills and ability to negotiate
• Strong organizational and effective decision-making skills.
• An innovative and curious mindset
• Business acumen, ability to forecast, read and understand hotel performance to be able to provide bespoke, innovative solutions
• Ability to support, develop and implement successful commercial strategies
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to respond and thrive within a constantly changing and growing organization.
• Ability to stay focused and be self-motivated, able to prioritize and plan own workload, work under pressure, manage multiple projects at one time and meet deadlines
