Job Summary’s
The Regional Human Resources Manager will be responsible for leading the HR team, strategy, designing compensation, benefit, and development programs, and implementing company policies.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy formulation and implementation
• Ability to create and implement strategies with clear, transparent auditable methods at all levels.

Capacity building and staff development
• Provide training, support, and advice on performance management and staff development plans and ensure performance reviews are conducted when required in Kenya and all the regional allocated countries (currently Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Ivory Coast, and for the regional management).

Duties and responsibilities
• Ensure that accurate job descriptions are in place
• Provide advice and assistance when conducting staff performance evaluations
• Provide staff orientations
• Prepare shift schedules and rota for staff
• Monitor daily attendance.
• Payroll preparation including statutory deductions computations
• Investigate and understand causes for staff absences.
• Support in the recruitment processes and adhere to the recruitment policies and procedures
• Prepare recruitment materials including preparation of job adverts and posting based on the approved job descriptions, minutes of pre-selection and interview processes.
• Preparing sufficient copies of documentation for all formal and informal employee relations meetings e.g. grievances, disciplinaries, appeals etc. and ensuring these are distributed in accordance with company policy.
• Directs and coordinates preparation of position descriptions, ensures and oversees job evaluations.

• Act as a Business Partner, strategic solution provider, advisor and coach for the 4 General Managers and their senior leadership teams. Support line managers by providing valuable input and expertise to the team on Hiring processes, Employment laws, HR policies, HR processes, Compensations, Relocations, Expats, etc.
• Cascade the global people practices and processes.(Performance management, engagement survey, headcount planning, salary reviews, etc)
• Ensure Glovo culture is lived in every office through its design and layout, events, and the provided people experience.
• Lead the Diversity & Inclusion strategy of the region,
• Design and implement employment guidelines and integrate global People processes relevant while ensuring compliance with each country’s legislation.
• Design strategic initiatives through the generation of relevant data and analysis.
