JOB DETAILS:
• Researching, evaluating and recommending new technologies to enhance Authority’s ICT infrastructure;
• Developing and coordinating network security measures to ensure the integration of the ICT infrastructure;
• Researching, planning, implementing and coordinating network infrastructure replacements and upgrades;
• Maintaining Corporate-wide messaging system, Intranet and Extranet sites for the Authority;
• Managing outsourced ICT service providers and ensuring that service delivery is done according to the Service Level Agreements (SLAs);
• Participating in developing of ICT standard operating procedures;
• Coordinating development of technical specifications for all ICT related purchases;
• Carrying out periodical modifications on the ICT systems as required and ensure adherence to established ICT standards;
• Coordinating the identification procurement needs for the department;
• Coordinating the preparation of departmental periodic progress reports; and
• Coordinating the departmental enterprise risk management and business continuity management;
Qualifications
• Eight (8) years relevant work experience;
• Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: – Computer Science/Business Information Technology, Telecommunication/Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;
• Masters Degree in any of the following disciplines : – Computer Science or any other/ICT or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• Certification in any of the following CCNA, MCSE/MCTS/MCITP/ ITIL/CCNP/CEH/SQL;
• Certification in Microsoft NAV and CRM;
• Knowledge of programming;
• Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Demonstrate competence in work performance and results; and
• Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
