Our Client, the KPA Pension Scheme has been in existence for over 35 years and has a Net asset valued at Kshs. 23.9 Billion and 8,931 members comprising 963 contributing members, 2,714 non-contributing members, 4,175 pensioners and 1,079 pension dependents. The Pension Scheme is undergoing a transformation to streamline its operations in order to realise the envisioned growth and efficiency in service delivery to its members and generation of revenue. To support the Scheme in this transformative drive, the Scheme is seeking to recruit open-minded, self-driven, result oriented individuals of high integrity who will play a critical role in directing the achievement of its strategic objectives. In pursuit of these objectives, the Scheme invites dynamic, experienced and innovative candidates to submit their applications for the position above; .

Job Responsibilities; • Reporting to the Scheme Administrator, the Manager, Finance and Investment will be responsible for all aspects of Finance and Investment functions which include; Formulation and implementation of sound financial management policies, procedures, strategies, systems; proactively identifying risks and opportunities that need to be managed for the Scheme to realise its financial goals; and ensuring efficient financial and budgetary control systems are in place. In addition, the successful candidate will be in charge of the continued compliance of the scheme with statutory and regulatory requirements and maintaining sound operational linkages with other service providers in the sector.

Job Qualification; • The ideal candidate will hold both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Economics, Commerce (Accounting or Business Administration with Finance Option) or any other Business-related degree from a recognised Institution, a minimum of eight (8) years of experience, of which three (3) must be in a management role and must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K), ACCA, CIFA, CFA and a member of ICPAK, ICIFA or KISM
