JOB DETAILS:
Living Goods is looking to hire a Finance Budgeting Consultant for a period of 4 months. S/he will be responsible for coordinating the budget process for consistency and alignment between countries. This position reports to the Chief Finance Officer and will work closely with the Country Directors, Country Finance Heads and the Senior Grants Finance Manager, as well as the functional department heads. .

Job Responsibilities:
• Work with relevant Country Finance Heads and Department Heads to ensure consistency, alignment and accuracy in the budgeting process
• Lead budget discussions with department heads and teams
• Collect and collate data from pre-developed excel-based budget templates
• Ensure that approved budgets are uploaded into the ERP system
• Interpret budget information to develop a process to monitor expenditure against key drivers/activities

Job Qualifications:
• At least 10 years total work experience
• A minimum of 5 years’ end-to-end experience managing complex multi-year, multi-country budgeting in an International NGO or not-for-profit organization
• Ability to use advanced techniques for analyzing and manipulating data in Excel
• Attention to detail – an ability to spot discrepancies in information
• Experience in the Health Sector is an added advantage
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
