Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations Post Title: Field Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist Contract type National Project Personnel(NPP) Duty Station: Kitul, Taita Taveta - Kenya Grade: SC7 Duration: G months with possibility of extension Closing Date: 15 August 2018 Organizational Setting
The post is located in the FAO Representation in Kenya The Field Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist is recruited to contribute to the implementation of a USAID funded project which is on Increasing Smallholder Productivity and Profitability (ISPP) and implemented by FAO Kenya in five counties Machakos, Makueni, Taita Taveta, Tharaka Nithi and Kitui.
The Field Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist is expected to work closely with the FAO County Programme Officers (CPOs) based in the five project counties to implement a monitoring and evaluation system for the project, and to support all related monitoring and evaluation activities.
Reporting line The Field Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will be under the overall supervision of the FAO Representative and the direct supervision of the Proiect Manager and the Nairobi M8-E personnel.
Technical Focus The Field Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will provide both technical coordination and operational support to the county governments on agriculture development and in line with FAO'scountry programme framework.
