The BOMA Project Is Recruiting for a
Director of Research, Evaluation and Learning
Duties Include:
Research, Evaluation and Learning:
• Refine vision and lead BOMA's program research and learning strategy to include defining resourcing needs (staff, funding) for the research function to execute on the program and learning strategy.
• Design and manage a research and learning hub to incubate and test scalable models/innovations for streamlining of poverty graduation program components
• Gather evidence from poverty graduation programs worldwide and produce lessons learned critical to the adaptation of the approach into government social protection
Program Design, Program Development, Advocacy and Partnerships
• Identify policy issues in model adoption, undertake research to develop position papers/ policy briefs on issues to support BOMA's advocacy for government adoption of poverty graduation.
• Lead the creation and dissemination of organizational research and learning through publications, knowledge products, policy briefs and conference presentations: .

Candidate Profile:
• M.A in Economics or relevant field.
• Strong foundation in poverty reduction, economic development, International development or related field. Poverty graduation experience preferred.
• Strong foundation in experimental design, statistical methods, qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Proven experience in leading the design, writing and implementation of experimental and quasi-experimental evaluations and operational research
• Proven experience leading design and execution of qualitative evaluations, including analysis and report writing.
• Proven strong writing skills, prior experience producing research reports, knowledge products.
