CloudFactory is a cloud labor platform where businesses get instant access to virtual workers for tedious and repetitive tasks. We help businesses create virtual assembly lines that are staffed by our "cloud workers" from around the world. As a social enterprise we are working to connect 1 million people in the developing world to basic computer work while raising them up as leaders to address poverty in their own communities.

So will it disrupt poverty in the developing world? Only time will tell, but we like to think we have all the pieces to be a serious market-based approach to alleviate poverty in many countries. In the mean time we are giving opportunities one by one to talented and motivated cloud workers who are working themselves out of poverty and into a brighter future. At the same time we are providing a great commercial service for data entry/processing to businesses around the world. Sustainable innovation where everyone wins!


The nature and size of our workforce requires a creative mindset, unusual problem-solving skills, and the ability to simplify and scale processes. This is a very low touch but high volume recruiting cycle, often dealing with upwards of hiring 100 people per month and processing over 1,000 applications.
As the Cloud Talent Strategist, you will be our mission champion to have “people who care” as our differentiator for high quality service delivery, while ensuring the best possible Cloud Worker satisfaction and personal growth – we have an amazing team that will help you achieve this.
Our Cloud Talent Strategist is not a conventional human resources role and actually we dislike the term human resources. Similarly, the person we are looking for might actively dislike conventional recruitment – this is truly an opportunity to create a recruiting pipeline that is fully automated while still identifying people who care.

You’ll be working within our small Acquisitions team, to ensure we attract, select and train the most appropriate Cloud Workers to meet our dynamic client needs.

The Fit:
You must be have good communication skills, be able to clearly delegate and manage tasks, and be passionate about connecting talented people in Kenya to innovative new opportunities. You are excited by data, and strategies to make hiring processes smarter and more efficient. You are an innovator and have developed new approaches, ideas and problem solving methods for high quality delivery. You are great in developing metrics, tracking, creating action plans and understanding basic financial implications of ideas. You are creative in the way you build systems to add value to other parts of the business.
Overall, you will be responsible for scaling CloudFactory’s workforce in Kenya, ensuring an incredible client and worker experience.
