JOB DETAILS:
Youth Country Coordinator-RHRN II Kenya , CSA.
• The Youth Country Coordinator (YCC) is a diverse role particularly in mainstreaming meaningful and inclusive youth participation within the programme.
• The YCC will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective communications internally and externally. This person inspires the country partners to realize the programme Theory of Change and will provide strategic support of youth-led development on issues of concern to young people focused on sexual reproductive health and rights.
• Given the nature of the RHRN2 programme, it is essential that the workforce has a right mix of skills and qualities to fulfill its mandate. In this regard, we are looking for dynamic young people with strong records in coordination, communications and advocacy to lead youth mainstreaming tasks of the RHRN2 programme in Kenya strategically championing SRHR of adolescents and young people.

Qualifications and Experience
• A minimum of a university degree in Communications, Management, Development Studies or a related field.
• Has expertise and passionate about working on communication and advocacy for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) of adolescents and young people in all their diversity.
• Demonstrated experience of working with a network of local organizations and understanding of inclusion and intersectionality.
• Keen on finding innovative and creative solutions to realize programme goals.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible, willing to work irregular hours, and adaptable to changing circumstances with demonstrable problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently, take initiative, prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines.
