Ward Administrator (Central Kanyamkago) (1 POST)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Development of policies and plans;
2. Provision of service delivery;
3. Developmental activities to empower the community;
4. Provision and maintenance of infrastructure and facilities of public services;
5. Exercising functions and powers delegated by the Public Service Board under Section 86 of the County Governments Act;
6. Coordinating and facilitating citizen participation in the development of policies and plans and delivery of services;
7. Running an efficient and effective citizen service delivery center;
8. Managing all cross cutting issues in the Ward such as HIV and AIDS, gender mainstreaming, integrity programmes among others;
9. Accounting for movable and immovable assets of the County government;
10. Implementing an effective performance management system;
11. Implementing policies for fire and disaster management; and
12. Performing such other functions as may be delegated by the Sub-County Administrator.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Be a Kenyan citizen;
2. Have served in public or private service organization in administration or management for not less than five ( 5) years;
3. Minimum of C+ (Plus) in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or its equivalent;
4. Have a Bachelor’s Degree certificate in Business Administration/Management, Political Science or any social science from a recognized institution

2. All applications should reach the Secretary/CEO Migori County Public Service Board on or before Thursday 31st March, 2022 at 5:00pm.
3. Shortlisted candidates will be required to produce their original identity cards, academic and professional certificates and testimonials.
4. For candidates to meet the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010, applicants must obtain the following clearances:
• Tax compliance certificate from KRA
• Clearance certificate from HELB
• Clearance certificate from Ethics and Anticorruption Commission (EACC)
• Certificate of good conduct from Criminal Investigation Department
