Visual Product Designer (UI)

We are Elephant Ventures, an innovation company with strong technical chops, AND we’re looking for a Product Designer with strong UI skills to join our team. We help companies use technology to advance their business. Our partners rely on us to deliver innovation – from ideation & engineering to the deployment of tools, platforms & entire integrated digital ecosystems.
As a Product Designer at EV, you will lead the visual design and execution on a project from start to finish. You will work in scrum while collaborating with Product Owners and Engineers to create innovative products. You will present your designs and prototypes to clients. Team members will look to you to help them troubleshoot issues. Additionally, you will help craft marketing and sales materials to help sell our services to potential clients.
We also conduct intensive 1-week Design Sprints with clients, and you will have the opportunity to help facilitate. In these design sprints, we focus on a problem, create a prototype, and test it, all within five days.

You have:
1. 5 – 8 years of experience as a product designer/digital designer
2. Experience working within a scrum framework
3. A bachelor’s degree in design, or related field
4. Detailed knowledge of Sketch, InVision and Google Drive tools (slides, sheets and docs)

Nice to have:
1. UX skills are a plus
2. Design Sprint experience is a plus
3. Finance or business consultancy experience is a plus

Your contribution:
1. Lead the visual design on a project from start to finish
2. Collaboratively produce rapid prototypes for validation of design solutions
3. Create high-fidelity designs
4. Collaborate and communicate openly with Engineers, Product Owners and Clients
5. Find lean design solutions to problems in a high-paced environment
6. Help create company marketing and sales materials
