Our ideal candidate would have:

Experience & Qualifications
• MS Engineering degree or equivalent expert level in Electrical and Electronics, with a strong focus on digital electronics. Knowledge of battery systems would be a plus
• 4+ years post-graduate experience working in embedded electronics development & testing environment.
• Demonstrated experience developing embedded microcontroller systems including firmware development.
• Direct experience in electronics diagnostics and debugging
• Ability to perform independent test & measurement activities
• Experience of data analysis and calibration software used in automotive
• Experience in taking electronic systems from concept to production.
• Demonstrated experience working with data systems and system modeling software tools including Python, SQL, JavaScript, Simulink, and Excel.
• Ability to develop, configure, and utilize a variety of wired and wireless communication frameworks including CAN Bus, RS-485, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
• You have demonstrated an ability to learn continuously, work autonomously, and make decisions

Responsibilities:
• Engineering of body electrics and electronics including support to packaging and mechanical design of electrical components
• Engineering vehicle telematics solutions for vehicle monitoring and data collection across operational vehicle fleets
• Engineering of passenger counters
• Diagnostics of body electronics, vehicle control modules
• Product development, testing, verification and documentation of electronics including onboard Wi-Fi routers, infotainment systems, passenger experience, data acquisition hubs
• Analyze, simulate, and perform verification testing and documentation of low and high voltage electronics
• Apply theoretical and practical knowledge of electrical engineering to verify, validate and improve electronic product designs
• Communicate electronics project technical status
