Siaya County is one of the counties in the former Nyanza Province in the southwest part of Kenya. It is bordered by Busia County to the north, Kakamega County and Vihiga County's to the northeast and Kisumu County to the southeast. It shares a water border with Homa Bay County which is located south of Siaya County.

JOB DETAILS:
Reporting to the Director, Survey the Senior Valuer will provide leadership in the County property management; Undertake valuation of County properties and provide for taxation of land; be responsible for acquisition of land for the County.

Qualifications

•  A Bachelor`s degree in any of the following disciplines: Valuation, Property Management, Land Administration, Land Economics or equivalent from a recognized institution;
  
•  Be registered by the Valuers Registration Board;
  
•  Have served for a period of not less than eight (8) years, three (3) of which must be in a management position in either public or private sector;
  
• Have good communication, skills
  
•  Be computer literate
  
•  Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010
