Car Sales Executive

Key Requirements:

  • Showcase the dealership’s vehicles and explain their features and warranties to customers.
  • Answer customer questions about cars, financing and purchase process.
  • Accompany customers on test drives, collecting licenses and documentation beforehand per best practices.
  • Negotiate car prices and sell units to customers.
  • Coordinate with the finance department to determine each customer’s financing and ownership options
  • Contact past customers to ensure they are satisfied with their vehicles
  • Attend product and sales training courses as requested by Sales Manager.
  • Keep up to date on new products and services, brands and models in the industry.
  • Approach, greet, and help or give direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom
  • Know and understand local laws which govern retail automobile sales.
  • Schedule first service appointment.

Qualifications

  • Relevant bachelor’s degree.
  • Must have 7 years of experience Sales consultant in automotive industry.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • High agility, personal standards, and goal oriented.
  • Good analytical, presentation and effective communications skills.
  • Good planning and organization skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Excellent report, writing and problem-solving skills.

Stores Operations Manager

Key Requirements:

  • To establish all seasonal Retail estimates and budgets, and to prepare Retail concept, strategy and tactics within the overall company plan.
  • Responsible for all Company Assets within the Respective Stores including Stocks.
  • Oversee and grow all Retail business.
  • Prepare, in co-operation with the District Managers and Retail Statistician, Seasonal and weekly estimates for all stores.
  • Follow through preparation and review store profitability analysis and to take corrective measures.
  • Be constantly cognizant of the Kenya market trends, market growth, requirements, competition etc., and to anticipate competitor’s plans, activities, and interests and to advise appropriate counter action.
  • Participate with selection, placement, and training of sales personnel in coordination with the Human Resources Manager
  • Ensure that store operation expenses, especially payroll, is kept to a minimum and not higher than estimates.
  • Assess periodically the performance of your immediate subordinates against the qualitative and quantitative goals.
  • Ensure you present to the Retail Manager, a weekly and a monthly report of the business developments and how to improve business in the retail channel.
  • Ensure efficient stock management to avoid old stocks through the application of FIFO rule, stock-re-grouping, and transfers in all stores.
  • Ensure that all queries from customers and stores managers are settled promptly
  • Avail to Production Planning the Retail stores projected order requirements for a specific period
  • Co-ordinate with Real Estate Manager, to keep control of leases and ensuring that new agreements are negotiated in good time.
  • Submit proposals for the re-modeling of existing stores adhering to company policy on store standardization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales & Marketing or relevant field.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience with 3 years in the same role.
  • Ability to lead a team.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills.

Materials Head

Key Requirements:

  • Participate and contribute to the production planning and profitable functioning of the company.
  • To be responsible for purchase of total raw materials for the company and ensure quality and advantageous prices to all factories in company.
  • To coordinate the activities of Purchasing and Material Management of all Units and proper planning of materials to drive in cost effectiveness.
  • To be responsible for building up a good management team in the Purchasing Department, practicing highest ethical standards.
  • Control Inventory of raw materials within estimates.
  • Maximize centralized cost improvement initiatives and control to bring in savings continuously.
  • Standard procedures in Purchasing functions are to be established in all sections.
  • Review adherence to standards weekly.
  • Coordinate bulk buying of all major, common items for all units such as PVC materials, Textiles, Rubber, Rubber Chemicals, Tannery Chemicals, PVC Leather Cloth and Packaging Material.
  • Assist purchasing organization to ensure regular supply at the right quantity, at the right quality, at the right time and at the most economical price and terms.
  • Coordinate and monitor the activities of clearing and forwarding.
  • Standardize the administration and procedures of Buying Departments and ensure proper physical inventories and orderly stock keeping.
  • Coordinate placing of orders and recalling of materials to maintain stock level as planned in the Financial Plan.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement
  • Master’s Degree and/or Diploma in Materials Management will be an added advantage
  • 15 Years; with at least 5 years as a Materials Head/Purchasing Manager in a Manufacturing Set-up
  • Good understanding of the market and market research tactics.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Profitable decision-making mindset

Technical & Sales Support Lead

Key Requirements:

  • Responsible for reconciliation and invoicing of the Service category division
  • Planning of dipping for air- and sea freight in conjunction with shippers
  • Responsible for quality reports in Sea Freight service and sharing with customers
  • Responsible for proper stock management of Technical Assistants
  • Part of the core team moving to a new customer platform
  • Supporting admin & legal side on contracts for the the new Service division
  • Management of the trial & research facility room
  • Keeping the room and controlled atmosphere chambers in perfect condition
  • Planning the capacity of the room and CA chambers
  • Setting up trials received from the field
  • Keeping track of trials with notes, videos, and photos
  • Sharing of intermediate results with Technical Consultants and customers
  • Preparing reports for all trials
  • Ensuring perfect collaboration between customers service and operations / supply chain

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • More than 5 years of proven hands-on experience in a similar administrational role
  • Experience in the Horticulture and/or Floriculture sector
  • Excellent Administrational and organizational skills
  • Excellent Excel skills and key attention to detail
  • Ability to operate independently, accurate and experience in writing reports
  • Excellent People and customer relationship skills
