T24 CoE Specialist

The Position

The role of T24 CoE Specialist is to co-ordinate and apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate requests through collaboration with other functional teams to ensure seamless resolution of T24 Transact issues to enable support business strategy and entrench best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Works closely with various business functions and advice on Best Practice on AA since it has robust functionalities.
  • Manages contract performance and nurture skills that advances the IT Banking Systems Operations strategy vide t24 transact.
  • Evaluates and reviews all T24 Transact incidents and requests before resolution.
  • Build and disseminate expert skills on AA support and issue resolution, since majority modules are moving to AA module.
  • With team perform Corrections on Contract with exceptions.
  • In liaison with relevant business unit, perform Product Creation for approved products.
  • In liaison with functional unit, supports T24 Transact-related projects.
  • With business, perform Product Optimization for requests on existing products.
  • Spearheads maintenance, traction and resolution of system core functionalities i.e. AA loans module.
  • Liaises with the T24 Transact vendor on escalated core issues for resolution.
  • Participates in the change management process by ensuring that requisite T24 Transact parameter requests are updated after a change promotion.

The Person

For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Mathematics or related field.
  • Certification in ITIL or any IT Related field.
  • 4 years’ experience in Information Technology or General Banking.
  • 3 years’ experience in T24 Core e.g., Credit (AA, LD), customization, product creation.
  • 3 years’ experience in T24 Banking Systems Operations (COB, deployments, health checks, troubleshooting)
  • 2 years’ experience in T24 Projects
  • Experience in Quality Assurance and Emerging Technologies (e.g. Mobile Banking, Internet Banking)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

 

Product Configuration Specialist

The Position

Reporting to the VOOMA manager this role is responsible for leading the requirement analysis of the bank’s digital products, product configuration testing and prototyping. The role is also responsible for working closely with the banks vendors to define requirements, feature roadmaps, document and sign off change requests as well as plan for platform upgrade.

This job holder will support development of new products and services, enhancements, maintenance and creating customer focused self-service and digitally enabled products. The role is also responsible for driving innovation and roadmap on the bank’s payments and lending platform through the Technology team and 3rd party vendors and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain a deep understanding of the banks digital platforms working with vendors and the Technology team to define the platform roadmap, customizations and change requests.
  • Analyzing and documenting requirements for new products and services and associated controls, customer journeys and notifications, arising from new business or customer requests
  • Support the progression of change requests from product managers and business users to testing, prototyping, deployment, and regression tests post deployment
  • Work with different stakeholders including Technology, Risk, Customer Experience and Operations team in ensuring DFS product delivery standards are adhered to
  • Configure and document configuration solutions for the Vooma platform in line with agreed business requirements. Maintain Vooma change requests documentation and track progression with the platform vendors
  • Maintain good quality documentation of configuration changes made on the platforms including roles and permissions matrix of the platforms
  • Scope and prioritize configuration change requests from product managers, track and report on delivery status

The Person

For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

  • University degree from a recognized institution preferably in either Computer Science or Technology related.
  • 3 years Technology experience with at least 2 years’ experience in product development and business analysis and 1 year experience in Project Management / Relationship Management and Mobile Money/ Payments or Lending Platform Configuration and Support.

 

Manager ATM Services

The Position

The Manager ATM Services will be responsible for ensuring that all ATM systems that are deployed in the bank are properly managed, secured and supported to provide high availability and exceptional customer experience on 24/7-hour basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluation of technologies and implementation of ATM systems and services as per the bank’s strategies for delivery of business products and services.
  • Provide leadership to K.E Head Office staff and subsidiaries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan and NBK) on ATM systems.
  • Management of performance for the ATM Services support team within Technology comprising of system admins and operators maintaining the bank’s ATM systems and responsible for a 24/7-hour support.
  • Development of and adherence to service level agreements with the Retail Business users and management of SLA’s with service providers/vendors of these systems.
  • Tracking of customer queries/complaints and implementation of initiatives to address key ATM Systems issues identified.
  • Provision of timely and accurate management information to all users on the ATM systems.
  • Maintenance of accurate and updated system configuration and documentation for all the ATM systems and ensure that constant review and versioning is done.
  • Implement appropriate security protocols and controls with respect to ATMs.
  • The holder will be expected to use tools to provide capacity and performance reports on all ATM services.
  • Management of project resources, schedule, costs, stakeholders, and the application development lifecycle.

The Person

For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science/ or related field.
  • 5 years’ experience in Banking Operations.
  • 5 years’ experience working with ATM and Card systems.
  • 2 years’ experience in IT Projects.
