Overall purpose of the role:
The purpose of this post is to provide day to day psychosocial support effectively to children at risk with psychological concern in Kalobeyei Settlement. In particular, the person is responsible for addressing psychosocial needs of children. In collaboration with the Pediatric Officer. S/he will be in charge of the provision of training and supervision of the Child Protection Para-Counselors/CFS facilitators, to respond to cases of children with psychological issues in the camp and ensure effective case management. S/he will work and liaise closely with the Pediatric Officer, Child Protection Assistant on documentation of program activities as per the donor requirements.

Overall purpose of the role:
The holder of this position will manage a team of child protection staff to effectively implement child protection activities in Kalobeyei Settlement. The incumbent will lead the implementation of refugee and host community child protection activities ensuring compliance with relevant child protection standards including case management, children’s participation among others. He/she will directly supervise 3 protection assistant and will work under direct supervision of Protection Team Leader.

Regional Humanitarian Disarmament & Peacebuilding Coordinator
Overall purpose of the role:
The Regional Humanitarian Disarmament & Peace building (HDP)Coordinator will be the key focal point at regional level for DRC’s core sector of Humanitarian Disarmament and Peace building. S/he will be responsible for working across Country Office and regional staff to develop relevant and effective programming in the areas of humanitarian disarmament, peace and stability, conflict prevention/mitigation, fragility and security governance, borderlands and cross-border programming, and ensure quality programme delivery throughout the portfolio. Further the position will engage with key technical counterparts in other agencies, donors, academia and the technical disciplines within the broader DRC organization at both country, regional and HQ levels.
