The Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA) has set aside funds for use in the
procurement of Material Handling Equipment and consumables during the financial year
2022-2023. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to cover eligible
payments under contracts for Supply and delivery of various warehouse equipment’s and
consumables.
1. Bidding will be conducted through the procedures specified in the Public Procurement
and Asset Disposal Act (PPADA) 2015 and restricted to eligible bidders.You are hereby
invited to submit a bid for the Supply and delivery of various warehouse equipment’s
and consumables as per item(s) listed in the attached document.
2. Completed serialized/paginated bidding documents one original and a copy in plain
sealed envelopes clearly marked on top with the Tender Number and description and
accompanied by a Bid security of an amount of Kes 1,655,520.00 (Kenya Shillings one
million, six hundred and fifty-five thousand, five hundred and twenty Only)
or equivalent in a freely convertible currency from Commercial Banks or Insurance
Companies (Listed by Public Procurement Regulatory Authority) and should be
addressed to:

And must be deposited in the Tender Box No. 1 marked GOK/ World Bank at the
Reception on the Ground Floor KEMSA’s 13 Commercial Street Office in Nairobi on or
before 10th January, 2023. Bulky tenders can be handed over to KEMSA Procurement
Director’s office for registration and safe keeping till the tender opening date.
3. Bids will be opened promptly in public and in the presence of Bidders’ and/ or
representatives who choose to attend the opening at KEMSA Tender Opening Hall at
10.00 a.m. Local time on 10th January, 2023
4. Late bids, portion of bids, Bids not received, bids not opened and not readout in public at
the bid open ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of circumstances.
