JOB DETAILS:
Technology Operations Lead
Requirements:

B.S. in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field; or equivalent experience; or industry certification (CompTIA A+, N+, Microsoft 365, AWS etc.).
• 5+ years building, managing, and optimizing on-premises and cloud compute resources in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
• Systems & network engineering passion and proficiency with 5+ years’ experience deploying, managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing cloud, server, storage, networking, and end-user devices - running a wide variety of operating systems including Windows, Linux and macOS.
• 5+ years designing and deploying cloud productivity applications including Google Apps, Microsoft 365, Zoho.
• 5+ years using change & configuration management tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Manage Engine Desktop Central etc. to manage, monitor, maintain and secure MacOS and Windows endpoint devices.
• Demonstrated experience designing, building, managing, and troubleshooting Infrastructure & Virtualization Services such as DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, vMware, Hyper-V etc. Certification in these technologies a huge plus.
• Experience deploying and/or working with customer services and ticket systems such as Zendesk or Zoho Desk.
• Relentless Automator. Always looking for opportunities to automate day-to-day mundane tasks and implement systems that help to manage a large-pool of technology resources with as few people as possible.
• Excellent proficiency in scripting & automation languages (Bash, Powershell, Python, Kusto(KQL) etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent planning and organization skills; able to balance day-to-day ad-hoc demands from across the organization with long-term strategic objectives of the technology operations team.
• Agile; flexible; energetic, extremely passionate, and excited about technology, technology support and helping others; and willing to go the extra-mile to ensure our technology systems are always up and running.
• Passionate about ensuring everyone has everything they need to do their best work.

Other Requirements:
Familiarity and comfort with OSI model a huge plus.
• Cisco or equivalent networking certification a huge plus, with excellent proficiency in networking concepts and services such as switching and routing.
• Edge and networking security certification and experience a huge plus.
• Exceptional talent in articulating your work and presenting your ideas (Excellent written, oral and presentation skills). Ability to present work to large groups and executives.
• Good collaborator with good interpersonal skills (a ‘people-person’).
• Highly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules.
• Ability to thrive in "startup" environment, deal with ambiguity; quickly defuse chaos; and convert ad-hoc needs into actionable plans.
• Obsessively passionate self-starter & self-organizer.

Responsibilities:
Manage and resolve day-to-day technology support requests – ensuring everyone has the technology & compute resources they need to build and deliver products and services our customers love.
• Assess our client’s Mission & Strategy; and plan, design, deploy and maintain fast, efficient, reliable & secure infrastructure, tools and productivity applications to support Mission & Strategies.
• Forecast, plan and create budgets for technology resources (apps, infrastructure, cloud services, management tools etc.) and work with finance, procurement and other teams to acquire and quickly deploy approved resources.
• Plan, Design & DeployNetworking, Security, Infrastructure and Directory Services; Productivity Applications; Operations Management; and Change & Configuration Management tools to support the organization’s rapidly expanding teams and operations across the world.
• Plan, Design and Deploy a help-desk and ticket management solution to keep track, prioritize and quickly resolve user-support requests across the organization.
• Help to hire and manage a team of system and support engineers as and when needed to assist in the management of day-to-day technology support activities and execution of the long-term strategic objectives of the Technology Operations Group.
• Assess security, data-loss and asset-loss risks; create appropriate IT policies to curb these risks; and implement security, data loss prevention, asset tagging and other systems to mitigate or eliminate these risks.
