About the role
Education Development Trust is seeking a Team Lead in Kenya for an anticipated 5 year programme funded by the Lego Foundation that will provide comprehensive teacher professional development in refugee hosting counties, while also ensuring learning environments are safe and supportive for teachers and students. We are looking for a Team Leader to oversee the project's implementation. You will be in charge of developing and maintaining relationships with local counterparts, donors, and other key stakeholders. You will need to be knowledgeable about teacher professional development interventions to support the implementation of competence-based curriculum.
You should be able to demonstrate: a proven track record of programme management including mobilising, managing and delivering complex projects; experience of collaborating with donor funded organisations in conflict affected areas; experience implementing programmes in refugee settings.
