JOB DETAILS:
Tax Associate

Job Summary

The overall purpose of this job is to supervise and execute Tax related tasks for the clients in accordance to the engagement terms.

Main Responsibilities of Job
• Understand the client’s business and maintain good client service in line with established guidelines;
• Understand sensitivity of client engagements and maintain client confidentiality in line with set policies;
• Create a positive impression with the client, dealing with any communications in a professional manner;
• Identify opportunities and recommend additional firm services that could benefit the client;
• Manage a client portfolio and build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and clients;
• Foster the firm’s culture of pride through active participation in internal, external and/or community activities;
• Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation including developments in global and regional taxation, double tax agreements, transfer pricing and related tax issues;
• Perform tax structuring engagements;
• Conduct tax audits, objections, appeals;
• Conduct tax due diligence and tax health checks ;
• Develop tax publications including tax alerts/bulletins and organize client seminars/webinars;
• Maintain and update the job plan schedule on a weekly basis in liaison with the manager.
• Conduct and draft industry research studies;
• Drafting customized TP advice for clients in various sectors;
• Drafting Transfer Pricing audit responses;
• Transfer pricing documentation including Value chain analysis;
• Perform both quantitative and qualitative analyses to advise our clients on the arms length transfer price;
• Prepare extensive financial and economic analysis to support restructuring/pricing decisions and transfer pricing compliance.

Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in Business related field Finance/ Accounting;
• CPA/ACCA Finalist;
• Minimum of two years of Transfer Pricing experience + post qualification experience in a reputable audit firm.
