Overview
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with line managers to identify their hiring needs and draft job descriptions.
• Source for candidates leveraging various channels (such as job boards, social media, and corporate career websites) and sourcing methodologies.
• Screen candidates based on pre-agreed criteria, conduct preliminary interviews to assess fit and coordinate subsequent levels of interviews for progressing candidates.
• Conduct a periodic assessment of sourcing channels, recruitment systems, and processes and recommend improvement where required.
• Anticipate hiring needs based on trends and build a talent pipeline.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and HRBPs in cascading offers and recommending appropriate salary scales and benefits based on market rates.
• Ensure both successful and unsuccessful candidates are given timely feedback.
• Maintain agreed-on metrics to inform sourcing and recruitment decisions.
• Perform reference and background checks on applicants and identify potential red flags.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience required:
• 2+ years experience in complete life cycle recruiting from entry-level to senior management: sourcing, evaluating, and closing candidates.
• Familiarity with job boards, HR software, databases, and management systems.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proven ability to close positions at different levels around Kenya.
• Experience in partnering with business and driving a talent strategy aligned to enabling commercial objectives
• Experience in leading corporate staffing ops, executing strategy in environments, and delivering results according to the demands of the business
• Ability to manage a complex set of stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
