Qualifications/special skills
• An advanced university degree (master's or equivalent) in Environmental Sciences, Economics, Automotive Engineering or related field is required. A first-level university degree in combination with an additional two years relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
• At least 5 years work experience in sustainable mobility is required
• Substantive knowledge about technical, operational and financial issues of clean mobility and especially electric mobility is required
• Experience in the development of strategy documents within the UN context is required
• Prior experience working in an international organization is desirable
• Sustainable mobility experience in low- and middle-income countries is desirable
• Proven analytical, presentation and communication skills are assets.

Languages
• English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in oral and written English is required.
