4. Superintendent Electrical, JOB GROUP CPSB 10 (1 POST)
Duties And Responsibilities
The Officer at this level will be in charge of electrical works in a large depot.
i. He will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of electrical controls in Public and County buildings and Institutions, installation, inspection, commissioning, testing and maintenance of electrical systems for diesel generating plants and machinery including low and medium voltage distribution.
ii.He will be in charge of services, repairs and maintenance of electrical installations and controls e.g. lifts boilers, water heaters, cookers, street lighting and general appliances.
iii. The Officer will also coordinate and supervise work of a number of small units in the County and Any other duties as determined by the Supervisor.

Requirements For Appointment
For appointment to this Grade, an Officer must have:
i. The Kenya Certificate of Education Division II, KCSE (Mean Grade C) or its equivalent
with Credit Pass in Mathematics, English and Physics or Physical Science.
ii. The Officer must possess Diploma in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent
qualification from a recognized Institution. Have acquired wide knowledge on the design works relating to electrical components and overall knowledge on electrical field. Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on Leadership and Integrity.
a. Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation b. Clearance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) C. Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) d. Clearance from the Ethics & Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
e. Clearance from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
