JOB DETAILS:
Strategic Business Plan Development for an Agri-Finance MFI Phase 2
Tasks to be Performed:
• Pre-Assignment Tasks
• Review program draft strategic business plan outline and the diagnostics report
• Conduct a virtual meeting with F2F staff, the extension services support team, and the PO to discuss the assignment workplan and objectives.
• Develop a strategic plan development workplan and outline for host validation
Assignment Tasks
• Attend an orientation meeting with the F2F team.
• Hold kickoff meeting with the MFI board and management team to finalize the workplan and expected outcomes.
• Hold discussions with the strategic plan development committee – SPDC - (2 board members, 2 senior staff and 2 credit officers) to finalize work plan
• Develop the draft strategic business plan
• Develop a financial projection model (include aspects of operational vs. financial self-sufficiency)
• Develop cash flow projections and budget
• Conduct training for board and management on strategic business plan operational leverage and implementation (From plans to actions training)
• Develop and refine in collaboration with SPDC a one-year implementation plan
• Prepare a trip report
• Debriefing with USAID/PPT presentation
• Finalize and submit a trip report
End of Assignment Report and Other Deliverables Required:
• A five-year strategic business plan for the MFI
• Implementation plan – one year
• A PowerPoint presentation for use in debriefing meetings
• A field trip report
