Payd is a cloud-based expense reporting solution that provides businesses with insight into their employees' business spend and alleviates the pain of expense management. We are currently hiring an exceptional Software Engineer - Golang to build the back end of our software. You will collaborate with other technical staff to deliver and maintain a fully-functional software implementation.

THE ROLE
As a Golang Engineer, you will develop and support integration solutions to bring our product to life. You will be tasked with developing and coding back-end components and connecting applications to other web services.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Play a key role in architectural design
• Understand software requirements and translate them into high-performance products
• Create robust, scalable, and reusable code
• Coordinate with stakeholders and decision-makers to test and improve services
• Provide analytical approaches to solve various problems
• Help design a stable platform to support phenomenal growth
• Code back-end components and integrate applications to other web services

WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU:
• Have at least 3 years of experience working with the Go programming language
• Have experience designing and building systems to handle high traffic at scale in a cloud-based environment
• Have a strong understanding of the development process - from design through to deployment, maintenance, and what that means for day-to-day development
• Are familiar with database technologies such as Postgres,
• Have hands-on experience with code conversion tools like Git, SVN, Mercurial
• Proactively find ways to improve the code and team processes
• Take pride in what you build
• Time management and organizational skills
