PURPOSE: To generate revenue for the company, increase visibility and presence within the specified geographical area. To create strong stakeholders’ value through overseeing efficient utilization of available resources and ensure customer focus across the region.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Generate revenue in the branch across all subsidiary lines;
2. Provide leadership and support to the staff, sales and marketing team by driving the implementation of the corporate strategy, through training and motivation to achieve the organizational objectives;
3. Recruit, train and motivate intermediaries;
4. Organize and represent the company in all relevant forums e.g. cooperative societies AGMs, leaders meetings and seminars;
5. Conduct Business promotions in liaison with PR staff;
6. Open up new markets and distribution channels including local check offs for Ordinary Life;
7. Identify and facilitate Branch Human Resource requirements including recruitment, appraisal, career development and resource planning, in liaison with the HR department and Regional Manager;
8. Enforcing of credit control compliance;
9. Manage loss ratios in the branch within the set limits;
10. Make interventions in the branch to maintain the established customer service standards;
11. Consistently monitor and provide market intelligence and identify potential for both business acquisition and strategic planning;
12. Enforce prudent underwriting standards in the branch and facilitate claims documentation process and
13. Keep track on new relevant development in the branch and provide intelligent feedback to GM Distribution and Marketing.
Education 1. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or in any related field
2. Computer literate in MS Office and other office applications
3. Diploma in AIIK/ACII

PURPOSE: Responsible for receiving and processing claims for provider payment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Ensure that all claims received are well stamped and keyed in for future reference.
2. Dispatch received invoices, mails and claim books to respective sections
3. Dispatch claim forms and other relevant documents to providers
4. Confirm that smart claims have been billed correctly
5. Prepare valid claims for scanning.
6. Upload, attach and index relevant documents to Document Management System
7. Facilitate discarding of scanned claim documents as per the approved disposal procedure.
8. Registration of medical claims in the system
9. Follow up on registration and reconciliation of provider statements to ensure closure.
10. Follow through to ensure all claims with issues at registration level have been addressed or escalated to the supervisor for action
11. Respond to walk in customer enquiries
12. Attend to customer and service providers’ queries and complaints promptly and professionally
