Job Vacancy: Services Director – East Africa

About the Role:
You will provide strong commercial leadership to team of Field Service Engineers, Services sales engineers, Technical & operational Support and Inside Sales as well as developing a culture of exceeding customer expectations.
The Services Director will be a member of the East Africa management team and will be responsible for leading and growing Field Service (FS) business and organization in East Africa.
Reporting to Field Services Cluster (Anglophone Africa) President, this position is responsible for leading the country Field Services business and organization.
The position holder will be based in our Nairobi office and will cover all East African countries, mainly Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Uganda.

Your Role
• Growth and Development and Performance of the service team in East Africa
• Constantly work to build the best engaged and motivated team, through use of all available Company tools and effective resourcing of talent
• Financial and customer related targets
• Handle cases and coordinate solutions for critical issues with customers, distributors/OEM partners, sales, service, and project management
• Define and roll out initiatives for service growth

Your Profile
• Educated to Degree level or qualified by experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics preferred and experienced organizational change leader
• Experienced in creating and implementing commercial and operational / service strategy
• Previous technical service delivery experience in Africa is preferred
• Leadership – create commitment and trust through strong work ethic and customer focus
• Excellent listening skills and ability to understand and interpret business needs to define communication requirements for a variety of audiences
