Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic, focused and self- driven candidate who is passionate about entrepreneurship to join our team. You will be responsible for planning and executing entrepreneur projects in collaboration with our partners to improve efficiency across various business functions and drive growth. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial personality and with proven capacity to achieve effective results.

Roles and Responsibilities include:
Product & Service Development
• Be the key person leading in conducting research and product & service development for Ongoza to deliver an innovative and efficient entrepreneurial support service.
• Plan and drive user experience design activities providing expert advice and guidance to support adoption of agreed service delivery approaches.
• Apply data visualization techniques and incorporate them into reports.
• Lead in the development of service delivery, training methods, techniques, tools to match overall business and client requirements while ensuring consistency across all user groups.
• Actively testing and experimenting with new ideas, innovations and best practices to improve project delivery while refining Ongoza’s model, drawing on trends and best practices in the social enterprise fields.
Recruitment & Selection (Partners & Entrepreneurs)
• Working with the Wezesha Lead to design concept notes, proposals, budgets and work plans for new projects
• Identifying entrepreneur needs, priorities, and pain points in collaboration with our partners.
• Planning and implementing Ongoza partner projects while ensuring project milestones and objectives are met.
• Facilitating training, webinars, workshops and other events for Ongoza entrepreneurs.
Stakeholders Communication & Management
• Ensuring all key stakeholders within Wezesha are updated on a timely basis.
Trainers Engagement, Administration & Logistics
• Recruitment of suitable trainers and seasoned entrepreneurs to support service delivery.
• Onboarding and managing trainers to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Ensuring all administrative and logistical arrangements are seamlessly managed for efficient service delivery.
Project and Service Delivery Management
• Providing and implementing recommendations that can improve the effectiveness of the Wezesha team
• Specify solutions for use in training entrepreneurs, allocate resources to training teams and define learning outcomes.
• Manage, optimize and build Wezesha’s structures and systems.
• Supervise and coach Wezesha’s various short-term consultants and interns to deliver targeted results.
• Foster a culture of openness, learning, collaboration and innovation within the Wezesha team.
• Ensure full utilization of resources within Wezesha.
• Oversee implementation of the Wezesha service and any future iterations of it.
Training Content Development & Technology Platform (LMS) Management
• Responsible for the development of training content in collaboration with other Ongoza partners.
• Ensuring an efficiently running LMS to guarantee uninterrupted service to entrepreneurs.
Data Collection, Analysis & Project Reporting
• Ensuring that entrepreneur data is collected and reported in a timely manner.
• Maintaining all projects files and records and collecting data as needed for Ongoza’s data and learning agenda.
• Providing data analysis reports through evaluating project results and analyzing the success of the service.
• Preparing donors and other stakeholders reports.
This role may include other tasks appropriate to the job as allocated from time to time.

Required Skills | Experience | Education
• 5+ experience working in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, with a relevant university or graduate degree.
• Work experience with entrepreneurs and early-stage businesses is highly preferred.
• Excellent business knowledge and judgement.
• Advanced knowledge of business operations and strategic planning.
• Experience in project management and implementing best industry practices.
• Ability to identify future business opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Competence with integrated project management systems such as Zoho.
• Business acumen and a growth mindset
• Proven experience in product development
• Ability to synergize with other teams
• Experience in data analytics
• Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
