Job Description
CrossBoundary Energy (CBE) is recruiting a Senior Supply Chain Manager to manage the procurement and logistics process for our hybrid solar PV projects for commercial-industrial customers. The Senior Supply Chain Manager will contribute to developing the procurement and logistics strategy for new projects and will be responsible for implementing these strategies as these projects move into the procurement phase. The Senior Supply Chain manager will contribute to defining the structure of CBE’s contracts with its suppliers and contractors and will be the main interface point between CBE’s Project Development Team, CBE’s Finance Team, our contractors’/suppliers’ logistics/procurement teams, CBE’s clearing and forwarding agents, local customs authorities (where applicable) on topics related to logistics/procurement for CBE’s projects. This role will require occasional international travel and reports to the Head of Project Development.
CBE is not an EPC or a pure developer, as we seek to build a portfolio of long-term, high-performing assets. CBE will look to you for practical insights on how to make discrete business decisions that will directly affect our financial outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
• 7+ years’ work experience in procurement and logistics management
• Work experience or demonstrated familiarity with large scale procurement
• Experience with implementing a variety of Incoterms structures (DDP, DAP, CIF, CFR, etc.)
• Experience with working on procurement and logistics in a variety of countries, understanding the nuances of specific jurisdictions
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Demonstrated ability to independently supervise multi-stakeholder projects
• Clear effective communicator across diverse audiences
• Writes clearly and professionally

Primary Responsibilities
• Manage the procurement and logistics processes for CBE’s projects Support CBE’s Project Development Team in developing the contracting, procurement and logistics strategy for CBE’s new projects
• Track procurement orders and coordinate the compilation of documentation required by local authorities in the jurisdictions that CBE operates in
• Lead the contracting process between CBE and local clearing and forwarding agents
• Serve as the main interface point between CBE’s Project Development Team, CBE’s Finance Team, logistics/procurement teams of CBE’s contractors/suppliers, CBE’s clearing and forwarding agents, and local customs authorities (where applicable)
• Monitor import duties and taxes in the jurisdictions that CBE operates in and seek ways to leverage any exemptions that may be applicable
• Track logistics timelines for all projects and report when project timelines may be at risk
• Drive innovation in CBE’s procurement and logistics strategy
• Build processes and tools to manage supply chain and logistics, and effectively de-risk CBE’s projects from a procurement and logistics standpoint
• Build out the Supply Chain Team at CBE
