JOB DETAILS:
Roles and Responsibilities
• Ensure that the operating system and data can be restored successfully at the same site and also at other sites, if applicable.
• Recovery testing includes the build and configuration of a component.
• Ensuring Threshold Monitoring Alerts are in place and issued if agreed thresholds are exceeded. E.g., disk utilization, CPU, memory, etc.
• For an application owner, OAT tester to confirms the possibility of performing changes to the application, with minimized risk.
• Provides proper operational manuals, adequate logging, alerts, and recovery procedures for the application for the operations team.

Skills & Qualifications.
• Min 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Linux administration experience.
• Scripting and automation knowledge (Shell Scripting).
• Database concepts knowledge (Oracle- Mongo DB – SQL Server – MySQL).
• Good knowledge of virtualization concepts (VMware experience).
• Cloud platform Knowledge (AWS).
• Oracle database concepts knowledge.
• Experience with standard Testing tools such as HP ALM.
• Good knowledge of Networking Theory and Network Design.
• ITIL Foundation and Service Management background.
• Strong analytical thinking, conversational English, and business writing skills.
