Job Summary
• We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to take lead of engineering. We’re looking for an engineer who will bring fresh ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design and mobile; the list goes on and is growing every day.   Responsibilities
As an engineering lead you will:
• Create prototypes, mockups, and staging sites for review and feedback
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the software
• Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables
• Guide and support your team through the development process
• Review designs created by mobile web designers and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Write code to implement those visual elements into various mobile and web applications
• Performing peer code reviews to execute coding standards, code consistency, utilization of setup cases and adherence to application design
• Optimize mobile and web applications for maximum performance across a vast array of devices
• Maintain websites and implement any necessary additions or enhancements
• Identify and troubleshoot various website issues and bugs
• Make use of company tools, version control system and issue tracking software to effectively implement user stories, technical tasks and fix bugs
• Maintain updated knowledge of the development industry and any advancements in technology
• Work closely with operations and infrastructure to build and scale back-end services
• Maintain and update full product documentation and other any other relatable tasks

  Minimum Qualifications
• 5+ years of programming experience
• 5+ years of experience with AWS databases and SQL
• BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: NodeJS and VueJS on the web, react native (JS) on mobile, Java, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, JavaScript, or Go
• Experience working with three or more from the following: web application development, mobile application development, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, developing large software systems, and/or security software development
• Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
• Experience in full stack software development
Preferred Qualifications
• Further education or experience in engineering, computer science or other technical related field
• History of successful research and proof of concept of new technologies or experience developing consumer technologies that have scaled
• Played a crucial role in fast-growth technology company or been involved in building a scale-up
• Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills
