JOB DETAILS:
Plugin Africa Ltd seeks to recruit a Senior Ruby on Rails + BackboneJS Developer .

Job Responsibilities:
• Architecting and building features in their entirety Code using Ruby on Rails, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, BackboneJS
• Developing backend application modules or enhancing existing web components
• Coaching junior developers and performing code reviews
• Technical design of digital assets with special focus on reuse, libraries und scalability
• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various components – Quality Assurance with existing testing team

Job Skills:
• 8+ years of experience developing and debugging rails applications
• 4+ years of experience in JavaScript, CSS and HTML5, HAML, SASS, Coffee, jQuery, BackboneJS
• Experience in agile Teams
• Experience in developing and using APIs (RESTful, JSON)
• Experience with mySQL
• Knowledge of functional programming – Fluent in English
