Senior Programme Officer
Responsibilities
• Assist in developing and executing annual work plans and budgets
• Provision of technical and operational support to cross-functional teams including program partners & stakeholders
• Supports the creation of strategic partnerships and implementation of financial sustainability plans
• Carries out research to support program work
• Monitor, track and deliver on program outputs/outcomes
• Generate and provide support for the development of reports, activity reports and program documents
• Manage program logistics such as procurement and travel
• Lead and coordinate programme support staff
• Serve as secretary to meetings and follow up on program communication with the department, ED’s office, partners and stakeholders
• Other duties as assigned to you
Skills and experience
• Experience in programming work. This includes experience working with communities, national/sub-national governments and multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in managing projects end to end. This includes budget development, stakeholder engagement, event planning and monitoring and evaluation..
• Experience developing funding proposals and managing grants
• Experience carrying out research is an added advantage

• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects
Qualifications
• MUST have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years’ experience or Master’s with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Social Science, Statistics, Public Administration or related fields.
