JOB DET Senior Pharmaceutical Technologist AILS:
Senior Pharmaceutical Technologist
Reports to: Study Pharmacist
Locations: Suba/Rongo
Duration: One (1) Year Renewal.

Qualifications:

1. Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology
2. Registered with the pharmacy and poison board

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Administer respective Case Report Forms (CRFs)
2. Carrying out QA/QC of study CRFs and source docs and resolve queries that may arise.
3. Dispensing drugs and Study products to participants.
4. Ensure prescription drugs are available for dispensing to participants
5. Maintaining pharmacy temperature and humidity logs
6. Counseling participants on adherence to study products
7. Participants Randomization process in liaison with the data and clinic teams.
8. Ensuring accurate and timely records of dispensed drugs and study products on the pharmacy logs and in the accountability logs and Database.
9. Prepare and dispense prescribed medications and pharmaceutical preparations according to participants' prescription.
10. Establish and maintain good relationships with participants to foster study retention.
11. Closely work with other staff members to ensure the success of the study

Other Required Skill:
1. Commitment to integrity and high-quality performance
2. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
3. Ability to follow instructions and procedures and Keen/attentive to detail
4. Articulate in both verbal and written communication in English and Swahili.
5. Good Counseling skills
6. Filing and store management.

Work Hours: 8


Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education:
Bachelor Degree
