JOB DETAILS:
Job purpose
• The primary purpose of the Network Analyst & Infrastructure Support is to maintain and monitor
GAB’s Data Centre and Networks; install and configure computer systems; support business users;
diagnose communications/hardware/software faults and solve technical problems

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain the Data Centre and Corporate Network.
• Work with the information security office to ensure compliance.
• Adhere to the bank’s IT security policies, standards & procedures.
• Explore new technologies and trends related to computer networks.
• Participate in the design, setting up, implementation and testing of business continuity and
disaster recovery installations within the bank.
• Install, test and maintain a wide range of IT communication infrastructure and cabling
within Data Centres and branch network.
• Planning and implementation networks security, including building firewalls, applying
cryptography, developing IT security policies, procedures and standards within the bank.
• Evaluations of hardware, software and peripherals equipment for LAN/WAN/MAN
environment for procurement.
• Maintain all data centre standards, procedures, health and safety, and day to day
infrastructure performance issues.
• Deliver IT projects; meet agreed customer service levels for all systems supported by IT
within SLA.
• Ensure all incidences, errors, problems and requests for service are logged through the
Help Desk System.
• Ensure that the Data centre is maintained and operational 24/7 by providing daily audits
and reporting about the performance level of services.
• Attend and participate in all appointed team meetings.

Knowledge and experience
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
• Advanced diploma in Telecommunication/Electronics engineering.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional.
• 4 years of experience to include technical, business and team leadership gained.
